Early Simpson, Hoover, Malleys Universal Dual Water Inlet Solenoid Valve.

This solenoid valve is a suitable replacement for most older Australian washing machines which have a dual inlet valve with the hoses attached to the back of the machine using hose clamps.
Suits older Hoover 500,600,700,800 series large auto machines, older Hoover front loaders, small, medium and large Simpson & Kelvintor machines with heavy duty gearbox & motor, (not top-suspended models), Australian made Malleys Whirlpool large auto machines and some Philips & Admiral large auto machines.
It is a direct replacement for the older Goyen dual inlet valve as used on Malleys Whirlpool and very old Hoover, Simpson & Kelvinator.
The part supplied may be either all black, or black & white depending on current stock. The other valves shown in the photos with different colours are all examples of the same part that have been used in various machines over the years.
It is known in the trade as a Collingwood valve :) That has no bearing on it's quality ;)
