Hot normally closed thermostat to suit many old Simpson, Kelvinator and Westinghouse clothes dryers.
149degrees Fahrenheit, 65degrees Celcius, 4.8mm spade terminals, NC. Sometimes has an orange dot.
Very old models may be fitted with thermostats with 6.4mm spade terminals. This part can be used instead if the crimp terminals on the wires are changed.
Suits some models with two thermostats mounted at the back on the fan housing.
Also suits some early auto dryers as the safety thermostat.
