Replacement mechanical timer to suit Australian Hoover, Admiral, Simpson & Kelvinator large and medium washing machines.
The main item pictured is a 574-200-29, suitable for Simpson model 23-146. The other one is a 574-200-167 which is typical of types with a plastic shaft. You can use this listing to order a timer for any Simpson or Hoover washing machine which uses a similar timer. Typical models include Simpson Esprit, Encore, Aquarius, etc or Hoover Boss series, 700L series, Elite, etc. Note some Hoover timers start with 574-200- also.
Different models use different timer numbers. Please select the number on your timer when you order. The timer number is located at the back of the timer on the plate with the terminals. Simpson & Kelvinator timers start with 574-200- usually, and Hoover & Admiral start with 47578- usually. If your timer number is not listed then it is no longer available.
Some timer models have a cream coloured plastic shaft like one of the description photos instead of the metal shaft on the main timer illustrated. If the timer looks totally different from the ones pictured, however, then this item listing does not apply. For example, Hoover models A1180 & A1182 use a Japanese style timer which is no longer available. Some imported models use unique style timers for which this listing does not apply.
Some very old models may not be available anymore. If you purchase and pay for a timer that proves to be no longer available then your payment will be refunded in full. If you are unsure of availability, please contact us with the timer number or model number of your machine prior to purchasing.
Because of the large range of types available for different models, there will usually be a few days delay in posting if we have to order it in. Also, because of the need to order specially, returns are usually not possible, so please be sure it is what you need prior to purchasing. We DO NOT offer any return at all for timers which have already been fitted into the machine, as internal damage can occur due to other faults or incorrect wiring.
We are also unable to offer any wiring diagrams for specific models, so care must be taken when fitting not to mix up any wires.
