Care must be taken not to bend the capillary tube sharply, as this will damage the thermostat.

thermostat

your service was nothing short of excellent. thank you. however i may have either installed the device incorrectly, or i ordered the wrong part. the unit gets cold but does not respond to adjusting the temperature setting up or down. probably an omission on my part but i shall investigate further and advise . thanks again
