This kit is used to reinforce the front frame around the hinge support on some models so that the frame does not bend under the weight of the door causing the door not to close properly.
This kit suits some Westinghouse 4U600 series ovens including models 4U600W, 4U602W, 4U603W, 4U603W, 4U604W, 4U605W, 4U606W, 4U609W.
An even better solution is the newer repair kit, part # 0609100387 for models from serial # 92970262 or earlier, or part # 0133002227K for serial # 92970263 onwards.
