Equivalent to RF082A, KDF26C7, RT9, K59-L1102.
Universal cyclic defrost two temperature thermostat. Fits most refrigerators with a separate freezer box and a cooling plate or coils inside the refrigerator compartment. Also fits refrigerator only models with no freezer compartment and having a cooling plate or coils inside the fridge compartment.
Capillary mounts onto fridge compartment cooling plate or coils.
Thermostat has a built in on-off switch.
Kit includes mounting bracket and universal knob.
This universal part does not suit most Westinghouse, newer Kelvinator, Fisher & Paykel or some Hoover refrigerators. If used on these brands then after a period of time they will build up ice and not defrost properly as the characteristics of the thermostat are different. We have a different part listed here, here or here to suit most Westinghouse & Kelvinator models and keep thermostats listed here to suit many F&P models.
Some of the above brands must use the original thermostat to operate correctly. Just because a part looks identical does not mean that it is the same. If unsure, contact us with your model number.
