Westinghouse, Simpson Washing Machine Control Knob Spring Clip.

Fits the knobs used on many Westinghouse & Simpson top loading washing machines.
This spring clip is located around the shaft on the knob and keeps the knob tight on the shaft.
The clip is made from spring steel and is 9mm internal diameter. The original clip used on some knobs is a flat metal ring.
If lost or broken, then the knob will be very loose and may fall off.
Used on some Westinghouse & Simpson Eziset washing machine control knobs including the knobs listed here.
Note, this spring clip does not suit every type of knob used on these brands, and it may also suit some other brands not mentioned.
It is far cheaper than replacing the whole knob if the original knob is not broken.
